On February 03, 2005 Kru Darwin payed a special visit to St.Helen's Grade 7 class. Welcomed by many young smiling faces, and a poster designed by the students, Kru Darwin's presence illuminated the school halls.

The class began with an introductory lesson to Muay Thai and ended with a gymnasium full of 70 pre-teens screaming "ISSHHH" while rehearsing their new Muay Thai techniques.

The program is designed to encourage students to be active, to take action in constructing their recreational lives, and to teach some form of self-defense. In today's "McDonald's" environment, it is increasingly important to establish a foundation based upon physical and mental well being. Muay Thai brings this.

Kru Darwin was overly pleased with the motivation he saw in these students. "It's not every day you find young children like this - well behaved, respectful, full of energy, and ready to give their all".

Kru Darwin would like to send a special thank you Mr.Ian McElhinney (Mr.Mac), the staff, and students for having him. He looks forward to his return visit.
